KENNINGTON Family Home
The secluded family home – a unique warehouse conversion in southeast London – is designed around a truly exceptional photography collection. This formed the emotional and aesthetic core of the project, influencing every detail — from the architectural layout to the selection of materials and fabrics — to create an interior that reflects and deeply engages with the artwork.
A restrained palette of raw materials and fabrics set the tone, allowing the photography to take centre stage. In more intimate spaces, bolder colours introduced warmth and contrast, while natural light was carefully considered as an ever-changing element, animating the interiors throughout the day.
We collaborated closely with 23 Architecture -an architectural studio known for their serene but characterful spaces – who undertook the reconstruction of this extraordinary space.
